IMG 8513 I am Saturday morning gardening years old. IMG 8514 Here's hoping this thing flourishes here. The soil was noticeably damp more than 2-3" down. IMG 8515 Done. Back was sore all day from 30 minutes of stooping over a shovel. IMG 8518 Inside the air spring side of the fork. Was a bit dry in there. IMG 8520 Good thing I took this picture of how that piston on the righ was oriented, just before I let it slide off and hit the floor. IMG 8521 This dual air fork's internals don't look like mine, but I bet I got the o-rings for it. :(
IMG 8522 New foam rings in. IMG 8523 Would have been nice to get the o-rings and foam ring for this. Oh well. They looked usable if not new. IMG 8524 Just before putting the old parts back on. IMG 8525 IMG 8526 New o-rings no good. IMG 8527 This part has recesses molded into it for the snap ring to sit in.
IMG 8528 Like so IMG 8529 The only syringe I had with ml labeled on it. IMG 8530 Might as well get these while we are in here. IMG 8531 Filthy filthy oil. IMG 8532 Damper rod. IMG 8533 It had its day.
IMG 8535 These are correctly sized. IMG 8536 Beware when the guy in the video looks like he's even trying a little bit. Some of these parts are really snug. IMG 8537 IMG 8538 Matching o-rings found. IMG 8539 They were in there. I think some of these were in more than one kit. IMG 8540 Very soft metal rings.
IMG 8541 These of course don't match the 130cc I had in my notes, from a manual somewhere. IMG 8542 The only vessel I could find that was properly graduated. IMG 8543 Uppers are all sealed up. IMG 8544 IMG 8545 Both fasteners at the bottom of the inner forks needed new crush washers. IMG 8546 Much easier to get on since it hasn't been distorted by pressure yet.
IMG 8547 Back together. Ready to put on the bike to make some final steps easier. IMG 8548 Pump up the positive pressure first, they say. IMG 8549 Negative second. Using the printed recommendations this time. IMG 8550 Ready for the wheel to go back on.
