IMG 7366 Koba willing to tolerate the ground cover for food. IMG 7367 Last campground breakfast. IMG 7375 IMG 7376 Ears. IMG 7384 I am a sucker for these ears up pictures. IMG 7399
IMG 7403 Another one with the eyeball right on the horizon. IMG 7404 There are no advil left. Dang it. This picture reminded me to fix that later. IMG 7407 Interesting to see torta's getting top billing. I refer all questions to the bottom right of the menu. Definitely put the sauce you get with your order onto it as you eat. The salsa verde was muy bueno. IMG 7408 It was pretty cheery but the cerdo obsession is a bit ? IMG 7409 Koba eats furiously IMG 7411 After lunch and a bit of driving we have a nice nap before taking a hike.
IMG 7412 Nice beach rewards your effort. IMG 7413 You do have to ignore a few sings saying this is closed, and the washed out trail that is the reason for those signs. This was just barely manageable gettin Koba safely through the damaged spots. IMG 7417 He wanted to go in. IMG 7418 It was crazy windy in this region. Had to keep one hand on my hat walking across this beach. IMG 7424 Those white things that look like giant termite wings I think are Velella velella, also known as "by-the-wind-sailors", according to an article that was in the local paper earlier this year when they started washing up on California beaches in large numbers. This beach practically had snow drifts of them. IMG 7425
IMG 7427 As we drove north to Half Moon Bay it got more and more raw.
