We replace the steel shifter pivot with a titanium one. And we keep the steel one as a spare, since the brake pedal uses the same part. Note the red loctite as usual.
Blue loctite is groovy by me.
Ready to go.
This pin is supposed to just push right out once you've loosened the lock screw. This one here is stubborn though.
After testing which terminal in the slots is hot with the key off [bottom one], I turned these around. The blade farther from the wire is the one that is supposed to connect to hot. Now we should get parking surveillance mode.
After dremeling the torque washers a bit I think we are ready to assemble the kit.
That bar mounted bell needs to go to make room for the display panel and the thumb throttle.
Fit is dang near perfect.
Hooking up by color code is pretty easy.
Helpful hints.
Lots of them.
Extras. I thought this was a carrying strap and some hardware for it, but that is rim tape and, yep, torque washers. Bah.
The connectors on the hub controller don't match the battery type, but the battery came with an adapter. Some soldering required.
