IMG 8175 A lot of stuff went on today. Here we are getting all the parts of the ebike kit rough installed. IMG 8176 Hot glued those wires together with solder lol. IMG 8177 5 is most pedal assist. I'll try and remember. IMG 8178 Tire transferred to new wheel. IMG 8180 And now we switch to the bike that I need to repair so I can ride it tomorrow. IMG 8181 SN AP
IMG 8182 Just gonna steal these off the old bike. IMG 8183 Curious they would move the clamp position so much from one generation of these parts to another. IMG 8184 Had to move the shifter clamp inboard. IMG 8185 This should work. IMG 8186 Back to the ebike kit. These sensors shut off the power if you apply the brakes. IMG 8187 Quick test with some gorilla tape to see if this proximity will work. [It does.]
IMG 8188 Not sure what is going on here with this tube not going into the tire. May have to do some MacGyvering. IMG 8193 And now, yet more productivity. The Tuareg gets washed and ready for the big adventure. And since break-in service is long done, we raise the rev limit warning to suit. IMG 8194 And we get individual mode set up with minimal traciton control and maximal throttle response. Woo hoo. IMG 8195 And then we swim in a nearly empty pool and soak sore ribs in a very empty hot tub. IMG 8196 Now that the fuses are oriented correctly, parking mode shows as an option in the menu. IMG 8197 Enable it! Now the screen says "entering time lapse mode" and "time lapse ended" when you turn off and then turn on the vehicle. All the still images are stored in a single video file as, you guessed it, a time lapse video.
IMG 8198 So this is why my ribs hurt so much. IMG 8199 This got crushed between my back and the ground. Owie.
