IMG 1101 Lol maybe I let these things go to seed too long. We shall see. IMG 1102 One stop away, they say. IMG 1103 Van then turns around and drives off without delivering my stuff! IMG 1106 Time to install the power inlet. Fortunately a 2" hole saw is already on hand. IMG 1107 Inside, looking through into the lower part of the corner panel. IMG 1109 The van-lifers say the easy way is to go in through the plastic trim piece.
IMG 1110 There's a one-way air vent in there that has to come out. This meant undoing the fasteners on the trim piece to have enough room to pull it out. IMG 1111 Reed valve type stuff. Open. IMG 1112 Closed. IMG 1113 Stripped the threads on this when trying to thread it back in. Can't really get a straight shot at it due to the shape of the trim panel. IMG 1114 Nothing like chasing threads 1/8" of a turn at a time. IMG 1115 Once the thread issue was fixed this was a super quick job like it should have been.
IMG 1116 Now you're thinking with portals. IMG 1117 IMG 1118 Messy. IMG 1120 Tidy. IMG 1121 Basically a short extension cord that goes through the van but stays water tight. IMG 1122 Ford Model T on the block. I wonder if that is just a visitor or if it is staying.
