Sometime soon I need to open this box and make sure it is what I think it is, and that it isn't broken.
At first I thought these seat anchors were leaking, but then I realized it is anti-rust paint, since they drilled through the rust-proofed steel floor (and the rust-proofing)
Backing plates are a good idea.
This must have been fun to work out for a custom job.
Had to hit YouTube for an explanation about how to release these fasteners securing the exhaust heat shield. I think only one bolt is behind the heat shield, or anything else that makes it inaccessible.
This wheel well box needs to go. Takes up valuable inches of potential cabinet room. Had to pop off the fuse block cover to get at the mounting screws.
Some raise eyebrows by serious carpenters.
Those screws in each opposing corner would not unscrew. Wood was stripped internally. Had to hammer the screws at the tip to get the head to protrude a bit and then the screwdriver worked to get it the rest of the way.
Palest wood on the floor shows where the box sat. Box now sits right on the outside of that line. You can see how much more space (about 1-1/2" there is to slide a cabinet up against that wheel well now. Important in a short wheelbase van!
This is about how big the opening will be when the new kitchenette is installed there. (It will be taller). I will try to find about 1" more space. That would make the opening size about the same as a Revel van. That Murphy style passenger seat in the background will go, replaced by a single seat that can swivel and recline.
It has been so long since I owned a computer that came with a CD/DVD drive that I had to dole out a precious $16 for this online. Now I can make a copy of the CD that contained the raw MRI results. (228MB was probably an impressive amount of imaging in 1993 when the standard was created.)
Tastykakes and cheese steaks. No, we are not in Philadelphia. But we grew up near there so we still enjoy them. [There's always one guy in the background.]
A "half" steak sandwich is about all I can manage. Stomach still not accepting portion sizes anything like what I could eat two months ago. Could not finish the fries but that is nothing new.
MRI report is in:
”A Rathke cleft cyst is a benign, fluid-filled sac that develops in the pituitary gland, typically between the anterior and posterior lobes. It's formed during embryonic development when the Rathke's pouch, which normally gives rise to the pituitary gland, doesn't close completely, leaving a fluid-filled space."
Might need another similar-duration MRI specific to that area to see if it is impacting the pituitary gland at all. Surgery to drain this sac is pretty highly developed now and they do an endoscope through your nose. Many people have these and have no noticeable effect, so maybe it just gets left alone. Definitely something to talk about with the doctors.
