New neighbors have arrived in the site next door and I am a bit alarmed by the amount of cooking equipment they are setting up.
Breakfast. That's coconute pineapple cake with the coffee.
Very attentive when food is around.
Best place to anchor Koba's leash is pretty close to the table support. This seems like it will be trouble at some point. This photo is a reminder to me to make a new anchor point for the leash.

Let's nail down the location of where this chair will get bolted down. Clearance to spin locates it in this direction. [How far from the wall.]
Maximum recline locates it in this direction.
Upright when no one is sitting in it. So, use this as a reference.
Fridge still has room to slide all the way out so I think we are good.
See that little spike sticking up on that hill in the center? That is the source of the amazing cell reception for such a remote area.
Not too choppy yet today. You can really see the gaps between the rocks there that kept being a challenge for Koba to walk over while getting in and out of the water.
Cal Fire KC-130 flies over and does some swoopy turns and I try and take a picture of it. Camera focuses on the tree branch instead. Ah well.
We are not done here, monkey.

That's $1700 of clean teeth there. Enjoy.
Put down the phone and hold this line, says Steve. The boat is coming out of the water today.
Making himself comfy.
Giant pine cones come from this type of tree. Fat brown ones are OK to have fall on your or your stuff. Hard green ones not so much.
Frank was getting a little rowdy because people were eating around him and not sharing.
Grilled chicken tacos.
The cause of the leak has been determined. Hoping a new teflon tape wrap will fix it.
Fun with "50 lb" magnets. Getting stuff off the floor. Easy to move in the evening when it is time to cover the window.
Lilly can't talk but she can make her point clear.

Any time she gets a stick or a ball she takes it here to enjoy.
This could be the new spot for the loo.
Fire o'clock. Locally sourced fire starter!
A little whiskey and a fire. What it's all about.
