It's a bit brisk here as we get started on van work.
Nice intact o-rings here. Color does not match anyway. Running out of places it can be.

Not reddish.

There does not appear to be any kind of brand labelling on this. [Might be on the exact opposite side up against the wall.]
Let's use one existing hole to make referencing easy. It also looked underneath like this would avoid troublesome drilling, and the original placement marks would have meant a lot more work.
Metric bolts were the right length overall, but didn't have enough threads. Bummer.
Marks ready. Now for the fun of drilling holes in a nice shiny vehicle.
The idea here is to mark the drill bit and not drill farther than this. Hah.
A noble idea, but.
Once the drill tip got through the other side of the metal the drill pulled down in an instant.
Moving a centimeter closer to that rail would have meant drilling into those lines.
We have three bolts on hand so we drill three holes.
Hello ground.
This is definitely a two person job, says the one person who did it.
This is the wrong orientation, but you get the idea.
Slowly we get there.
Here's your second man.
This looks ready to go.
This part is only useful if you build up your floor around the mounting plate.
Enough room to get a beer out of the fridge while sitting in the chair. Sweet.
Koba's crate fits perfectly in front of it. Could drive with it there.
This is a reminder I really need to order a deep 9/16 socket. At which point I might as well get a whole set.
