1
I am Saturday morning gardening years old.
2
Here's hoping this thing flourishes here. The soil was noticeably damp more than 2-3" down.
3
Done. Back was sore all day from 30 minutes of stooping over a shovel.
4
Inside the air spring side of the fork. Was a bit dry in there.
5
Good thing I took this picture of how that piston on the righ was oriented, just before I let it slide off and hit the floor.
6
This dual air fork's internals don't look like mine, but I bet I got the o-rings for it. :(
7
New foam rings in.
8
Would have been nice to get the o-rings and foam ring for this. Oh well. They looked usable if not new.
9
Just before putting the old parts back on.
10
11
New o-rings no good.
12
This part has recesses molded into it for the snap ring to sit in.
13
Like so
14
The only syringe I had with ml labeled on it.
15
Might as well get these while we are in here.
16
Filthy filthy oil.
17
Damper rod.
18
It had its day.
19
These are correctly sized.
20
Beware when the guy in the video looks like he's even trying a little bit. Some of these parts are really snug.
21
22
Matching o-rings found.
23
They were in there. I think some of these were in more than one kit.
24
Very soft metal rings.
25
These of course don't match the 130cc I had in my notes, from a manual somewhere.
26
The only vessel I could find that was properly graduated.
27
Uppers are all sealed up.
28
29
Both fasteners at the bottom of the inner forks needed new crush washers.
30
Much easier to get on since it hasn't been distorted by pressure yet.
31
Back together. Ready to put on the bike to make some final steps easier.
32
Pump up the positive pressure first, they say.
33
Negative second. Using the printed recommendations this time.
34
Ready for the wheel to go back on.
