Purslane found chopped off it's main plant and lying in the sidewalk is doing OK in a pot.

Exterior wall of the house, in the shade. Eek.
Not sure I believe this. Could put your bare hand on it no prob.
Time to replace some seals and o-rings.
General kit for many Fox shocks.
Had to pull quite hard to get it to start to open. That pivot shaft is not something that can be removed with hand pressure right now. But it needs to come out to slide the air can off.
Can push it fairly far with this but not all the way.
Can push it out with this far enough that finger grip will finish it.
Now we are ready.
Extra grip from the rod through the mount really helps. Look at that sludge inside!
SLUUUUUUUUDGGE.
Clean. [Alan is scandalized by the spot where the coating is worn away.]
The o-ring that varies from model to model. Must match against the choices in the kit.
This one. Old parts go in the bin so they don't get mixed up.
Easy seal and rings to remove.
Dust seal. That sludge inside says this was not doing a great job anymore.
Difficult seal and rings to remove. Patience required. Avoid scratching the interior surfaces.
New and old seals. Clean tube. There was even more sludge hiding inside.
New seals and rings in. The plastic rings have to be bent some interesting shapes to get them in.
New dust seal.
Firm pressure again required to get the air can back onto the inner shaft.
Squeeze the remainder of the fluid into the chamber then screw it shut.
Travel indicator in place. It's been years since the original disappeared.
Pivot shaft went in with hand pressure with a bit of lube on it.
