A lot of people hype this taqueria but after trying it I'll say it is merely good. It is however very close.
The nervous system of a set of heated grips.
Hey thanks for the helpful info.
Before.
Just noting where these line up in case I need to remove them.

This exact same part is on my 20 year older bike.
Not too difficult to remove.
124mm
Same technique as the other side. This was a bit more snug.
Done.
Again, 124mm.
22mm, or , really, 7/8". Handlebar diameter is one of those things that is stubbornly SAE in a metric world.
This is an unusual size, and that is a problem. Just a bit over 26mm.
Gauge shows how long this grip can be. Time to trim the excess.
Plainly evident it is too long.
X-acto knife was in the house so this was plan B.
Throttle side cut to the right length too.
Inside diameter of the throttle grip is smaller than the outside diameter of the throttle tube. Something has got to give.
We try sanding the tube down a bit. This rapidly clogs all the sandpaper I had left around from previous tasks. We pause at this point and will try again tomorrow.
