9 Interesting to see torta's getting top billing. I refer all questions to the bottom right of the menu. Definitely put the sauce you get with your order onto it as you eat. The salsa verde was muy bueno.

14 You do have to ignore a few sings saying this is closed, and the washed out trail that is the reason for those signs. This was just barely manageable gettin Koba safely through the damaged spots.

17 Those white things that look like giant termite wings I think are Velella velella, also known as "by-the-wind-sailors", according to an article that was in the local paper earlier this year when they started washing up on California beaches in large numbers. This beach practically had snow drifts of them.
