Not quite as old and historic as the Hall but still worth a look.
Not much else going on here but us bikers.

48.7mpg getting up here. Heavy load and high speed climbing drops the usual mileage.
Easy to miss this place.

I should have gotten a beer.

Late lunch happened a few times on this ride.
Our kind of place.
Chicken bacon ranch. It hit the spot.

57mpg.
Garmin did not know how to route to some important milestones for us, even though it showed them by name on the maps. Weird. Also couldn't route to Boca Reservoir, or to the town of Graegle.
Repairs underway for a tool-kit holder that started coming loose.
The camp host at the Boca Springs campground was out of wood to sell. [There were other things one could say about her.] So I went back to this place at the nearest freeway exit and got some. Rok straps for the win.
It was a nice campsite. A bit of noise now and then from the other humans, but a nice space.

Plenty of room.
Demonstration of the way to carry a 750 of whiskey without a heavy/fragile glass bottle.
Boca Springs campground is named after this.
This was the water supply for the campground. It was very good.

All set up.
Good advice.
Well it turns out the campground had a bit of firewood after all.
The sudden and dramatic return of Hotwood!
The only time we wound up doing a meal in camp.
