Lol maybe I let these things go to seed too long. We shall see. |
One stop away, they say. |
Van then turns around and drives off without delivering my stuff! |
Time to install the power inlet. Fortunately a 2" hole saw is already on hand. |
Inside, looking through into the lower part of the corner panel. |
The van-lifers say the easy way is to go in through the plastic trim piece. |
There's a one-way air vent in there that has to come out. This meant undoing the fasteners on the trim piece to have enough room to pull it out. |
Reed valve type stuff. Open. |
Closed. |
Stripped the threads on this when trying to thread it back in. Can't really get a straight shot at it due to the shape of the trim panel. |
Nothing like chasing threads 1/8" of a turn at a time. |
Once the thread issue was fixed this was a super quick job like it should have been. |
Now you're thinking with portals. |
|
Messy. |
Tidy. |
Basically a short extension cord that goes through the van but stays water tight. |
Ford Model T on the block. I wonder if that is just a visitor or if it is staying. |
