Had to dig behind some stuff in the garage to find this. Garage needs a bit of a purge! |
Reduced width bed platform support rail looks good. |
Measure the iron bar backstop plate to fit the new size. |
The other side shows how far we want. |
Affix this board out here where it is easy. |
That front strip with continuous velcro is going to go. The bar that matched it already came out. |
One cut done. Not bad. |
Next. |
Marked it up while still installed. Easy. |
Done with the circular saw. |
Each rail has a distinctive pattern to match one line of velcro. |
Installed and ready for the bars. |
We will call this the #1 bar. |
Four bars now instead of five. 50" of board now instead of 60". |
S M R T of me to put witness marks on the rail and platform before I took the boards off. |
Circular saw is a bit messy along the edges. Hand-dressing removes anything that will snag linens. |
Not as much space to move stuff in and out here. |
Re-secured. Ready for foam and linens. |
